The European Festivals Association is delighted to present you with the Arts Festivals' Declaration and its journey through the world which began with a festive signing ceremony in the presence of European Commissioner for Culture, Mr Ján Figel’, on 8 January 2008 in Ljubljana.
Festivals from all over the world breathed life into the text: they developed exceptional projects celebrating intercultural dialogue and highlighting the outstanding excellence of arts and culture and, in particular, festivals for enhancing intercultural dialogue.
